The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, has discussed with the Egyptian Ambassador to Libya, Tamer Al-Hafni, the HNEC readiness to hold the elections for the first group of municipal councils.
This came during their meeting at the HNECheadquarters in the capital, Tripoli, to discuss ways to support the electoral process in Libya.
The Egyptian ambassador expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the HNEC in preparation for completing the voting process in the 2024 municipal council elections, according to the HNEC.
