Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (NARC), Imad Al-Sayeh, has met with Chairman of the High Judicial Council, Miftah Al-Qawi.
HNEC stated on its Facebook page that the meeting discussed a number of topics related to the role of the judiciary in supporting the electoral process and legitimizing it to contribute to the stability of legal centers in the country.
HNEC added that during the meeting, an initial agreement was reached to start organizing a scientific conference entitled "Towards Establishing a Solid Legal Structure for Resolving Electoral Disputes - The Case of the Electoral Experience in Libya", with the aim of strengthening the legal framework for elections and ensuring that electoral disputes are resolved in a fair and transparent manner.
