Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC) Emad Al-Sayeh met on Sunday with the new Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Libya, Sophie Kemkhadze, and her accompanying delegation.
The meeting at the commission's headquarters in Tripoli focused on the latest developments in the electoral process and ways the international community can support the commission through expertise in election management and implementation.
Kemkhadze praised the HNEC efforts and reaffirmed the commitment of donor countries to strengthening Libya's democratic path and supporting the upcoming electoral milestones.
