The Libyan delegation to the Arab League on Wednesday, voiced its reservations regarding a clause condemning Turkish ‘interference’ in the affairs of Arab countries, which was issued at the ministerial meeting of the Arab League.

Libya’s representative to the Arab League Saleh Al-Shammakhi, who represents the Government of National Accord (GNA), confirmed Libya’s definite position on respecting the sovereignty of all member states, without interference in their internal affairs.

He refused naming Turkey and accusing it of interference in Libya while ignoring the interference of other foreign countries, accusing the Arab League of double standards.

The official Libyan delegation refused using the decisions of the Arab League as a means to settle old scores and political disputes of certain member states with non-member countries.
