The Permanent Representative of Libya to the United Nations, Taher Al-Sunni, said that the absence of popular movements and organized and unified national political parties is what has led to the future of Libya becoming dependent on the common consent of external parties.

Al-Sunni added in a tweet that the outside countries interfering in Libyan affairs have ulterior motives, which may tend to destabilize the sovereignty of Libya, adding that “interventions may not end, however, negativity can end and all hope is in our youth.”
