Libya's representative to the United Nations, Taher Al-Sunni, has met with his Chinese counterpart, Zhang Jun, to exchange views on the developments of the situation in Libya and the challenges facing the political process.
“I shared our support to China role during its presidency of the Security Council this month. China reassured it’s position in support of a Libyan led owned solution”, Al-Sunni tweeted.
Earlier, Al-Sunni indicated that Libya objected to the nomination of Bathily for the position of the UN envoy, not because of his person, but because Libya deserves a person with more capacity.
