Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and King Abdullah II of Jordan have affirmed the intensification of Arab and international efforts to reach political solutions to crises in Libya, Syria and Yemen, through dialogue and consensus in a way that preserves their unity and sovereignty and achieves the aspirations of their peoples.

Tebboune and Abdullah also stressed, in a joint statement Sunday at the end of the visit of the King of Jordan to Algeria, the importance of confronting the threat of terrorism and extremism, renewing their rejection of external interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.

The Algerian and Jordanian sides agreed on the importance of supporting and strengthening Arab capacities to raise the challenges posed in order to preserve Arab interests, security and stability.
