An Algerian ministerial delegation inspected the technical and logistical works underway on the Algerian side at the Debdeb border crossing between Libya and Algeria, in preparation for its official reopening to facilitate trade movement with Libya.

The delegation was briefed on the readiness of the crossing, through inspecting the various facilities and the fundamental structures, such as the customs transit center, the quality control center, and the border health and safety unit.

The General Director of the Algerian Ministry of Trade, Salim Abbad, emphasized the necessity to provide all means and conditions to ensure a conducive commercial environment for exporters and businessmen, in a way that contributes to attracting productive investments in the commercial exchange sector.
