Algerian Foreign Minister, Abdelkader Messahel, warned of the redeployment of ISIS millitants returning from Syria and Iraq in the areas of Libya and African Sahel countries.

Messehel stressed that security reports revealed that there is already movements of ISIS groups towards the region.

He stated during his speech at the forum on combating terrorism on the African continent, in Algeria, that the large numbers of African fighters will return to their countries of origin or to African territories in general, in light of the decline of military success in Syria and Iraq.

The Algerian Minister also revealed that the terrorist groups obtain large financial resources, enabling them to reorganize themselves time and again, in addition to their ability to recruit and attract new fighters to their ranks.
