The Spokesman for the Anti-Terrorism Force, currently positioned in Tajoura suburb of Tripoli, Ibrahim Safar, revealed that the force is holding meetings with a number of conflicting parties in Tripoli in order to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis.
Safar stressed that the force, which is part of Al-Bonyan Al-Marsous Operation, wants to bring this crisis to an end without the use of force.
Earlier, the head of the Presidential Council, Fayez al-Sarraj, tasked the Anti-Terrorism Force to oversee the cease-fire and end fighting between the warring factions in Tripoli.
