A team from the Tokra Department of Antiquities has begun studying a newly discovered prehistoric site north of Al-Militaniya, the department announced Sunday.
The site was surveyed during a field visit to Wadi Gaza, conducted with Dr. Al-Amin Al-Houni, a specialist in prehistoric archaeology.
Preliminary results are expected to be published soon as part of efforts to document and protect Libya’s cultural heritage.
