The Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Aqila Saleh, has met with the Governor of the parallel Central Bank of Libya in the east of the country, Ali Al-Hibri, and discussed a number of economic files.
The process of unifying the Central Bank of Libya has been suspended, while the parallel bank administration is seeking to print a new local currency in Russia, as it did during the years of division, which weakened the Libyan currency and the national economy.
