The Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Aguila Saleh, has called on MPs to attend an official session at his headquarters in Benghazi, next Monday.

The session will discuss a number of laws on the council's agenda, according to the official invitation posted on the council's spokesman Facebook page, Abdullah Bliheq.

The HoR  held its last session on the February 7, which witnessed the approval of the 13th constitutional amendment that is related to defining the powers of the president and prime minister, and the structure as well as the competencies of the legislative authority, according to which a constitutional basis for holding presidential and parliamentary elections was approved.

On Wednesday, the HoR referred the draft of the 13th constitutional amendment to the High Council of State (HCS) for consideration by what was agreed upon between the two councils, according to the HoR spokesman.
