The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel Al-Asoumi, has stressed the need for all foreign forces and mercenaries to leave Libyan territory, as a basic guarantee for the stability of the situation in Libya.
This came in his congratulatory letter on the 70th anniversary of Libya’s independence day.
Al-Asoumi reiterated the Arab Parliament's support to activate the Libyan will, achieve the supreme interest of Libya, and preserve the unity, stability and sovereignty of its lands, expressing the Parliament’s solidarity with the Libyan people to respect their right to choose their leaders, away from any external interference.
