The Arab Parliament warned of the danger of postponing the elections, calling on all Libyan parties to stick to the timetable for the Libyan presidential and parliamentary elections, which are scheduled to be held on December 24.

In a statement, the Arab Parliament said that they valued the results of the Paris conference, emphasizing that the holding of the Libyan elections on time would protect Libya’s sovereignty and permit the government to deal with all basic issues of security and stability in order to achieve the hopes and wishes of all Libyan people.

The Arab Parliament confirmed its readiness to provide all necessary support for the holding of the Libyan elections on time and the importance of the consensus on the outcomes of the upcoming elections.
