Chief of Staff of the Libyan Army, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Haddad, discussed with the Commander of the Italian Support and Training Mission in Libya, and the Italian Defense Military Attaché in Libya, mechanisms of work, implementation, and removal of mines and war remnants form the track of Emssad - Ras Ajdir Road Project.
The meeting was attended by Director of Military Engineering Department, Director of the Libyan Mine Action Center, Chairman of the Libyan-Italian Joint Committee, and the Director of the Implementation Agency for the Emssad - Ras Ajdir Road Project, according to a statement issued by the Chief of Staff.
The Emssad - Ras Ajdir Road Project comes within the agreement concluded by the Libyan-Italian Friendship Agreement in 2008, but have not yet been implemented.
