The director of the investigations department in the Attorney General's Office, Siddi Al-Sour announced the start of investigations into the corruption accusations made by the former Libyan Consul in Alexandria, Adel Al-Hassi, against a number of state officials.
Al-Sour's announcement came after orders issued by Chairman of Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, to open an investigation into Al-Hassi’s accusations.
Adel Al-Hassi revealed earlier cases and files of corruption from some members of the House of Representatives, officials, and political leaders in the country, including MP Ziad Dagim and two members of the Presidential Council, Ali Al-Qatrani and Fathi Al-Mejbari.
