The head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, has monitored through the examination work, the conclusion by the executive authorities of more than one contract for one project.
The Audit Bureau head attributed the reason to the overlap in the competencies between the executive authorities, and the failure to develop general framework organizing the work between the different administrative levels, and the lack of electronic linkage of the financial systems between the concerned authorities
This came in a letter he addressed to each of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity and the heads of bodies and agencies.
The Bureau called on all concerned parties to abide by the adoption of the model of non-duplication of the project and circulate it to the executive authorities, considering it the most important justification for contracting and disbursement.
