Undersecretary of State of the Audit Bureau Alaeddin Al-Masallati on Friday met with the regional representative of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in Tunisia to discuss cooperation in the training field.
Al-Masallati stressed the importance of the capacity-building project in supporting and developing performance, emphasizing the bureau's interest in providing more education and training programs for its cadres to keep abreast of regional and international developments.
On his part, the US official praised the strategic partnership with the Audit Bureau, considering it a significant turning point in terms of cooperation with Libyan institutions.
In mid-May, the Audit Bureau said it reviewed the outputs of the partnership project between the Audit Bureau and USAID, which included the indicators and percentages of achievement in the fields of work, in addition to recent training programs the two sides conducted jointly.
