Khaled Shakshak, head of the Audit Bureau, met with Jeremy Berndt, Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy in Libya, to discuss ongoing collaboration between the Audit Bureau and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The meeting, held on Saturday focused on the Bureau's role in enhancing accountability and transparency in government spending, along with maintaining its independence within Libya’s regulatory institutions.
The talks also covered the long-standing partnership between the Bureau and USAID and explored potential areas for expanding technical cooperation.
