The Attorney General's Office has confirmed the detention of individuals accused of stealing operational components worth five million dinars from a flour and feed factory, with further suspects still being pursued.
Investigations revealed that the components had been supplied by the Lending Fund in 2010, only to be stolen from the factory's warehouse in 2011.
According to the Attorney General's Office, the owner of a commercial company knowingly obtained the stolen items. He then conspired with others to cancel a previous contract between the Lending Fund and the factory, later signing a new deal worth 30 million dinars. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the wider network involved.
