The Ministry of Interiot has announced the safe recovery of a 120mm artillery shell from a farm near the Airport Road area, south of Tripoli. According to a statement, the shell was a remnant of previous conflicts.
The operation was carried out by the Security Inspection and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Office, part of the Criminal Investigation Department, which successfully dismantled the ordnance.
The statement also confirmed the handover of a 155mm artillery shell and an unexploded C5 rocket by the Janzour Security Directorate.
The items have been moved to secure storage facilities, where they will be safely destroyed in accordance with established procedures.
