The General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons announced Tuesday the identification of four remains that were recovered from a mass grave earlier.

"The permanent committee for reviewing the results of DNA tests reviewed several cases of missing persons and looked into the initial reports of forensic medicine and audits before comparing them with the DNA results obtained from the relative laboratories," the missing person department said on Facebook.

Following the procedures, four cases were identified via DNA technology, the department confirmed.

With the latest cases, the number of bodies identified through the laboratories of the General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons increased to 150.
