The General Authority for Research and Identification of Missing Persons has announced the identification of one victim from the mass graves discovered in Tarhuna.
In a statement, the authority explained that the identification was made following a thorough review of results by the Laboratory Administration in coordination with the Departments of Remains Search, Family Registration, and Forensic Medicine.
The authority confirmed that the matching report has been submitted to the Attorney General's Office to complete the legal procedures.
