Oil exports have been halted in four terminals, as severe weather suspended shipping in the Oil Crescent, sources from the National Oil Corporation (NOC) have confirmed.
The four ports, namely the Al-Sidra, Al-Bariqa, Ras Lanuf, and Zueitina, are expected to remain shut until Thursday disrupting a shipment of 2.8 million barrels destined for international markets.
The incident is the second in less than a month, as bad weather forced the National Oil Corporation on February 3 to stop exporting operations at six ports, including Al Brega, Zueitina, Ras Lanuf, Al Zawiya, Mellitah, and Al Sidra.
