The UN Envoy to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, has said he talked over issues related to African affairs, including the situation in Libya.
Bathily, who is visiting New York, met the Chinese official at the UN HQ.
He said they agreed to support a home-grown solution to the crisis in Libya through elections in 2023, in compliance with the principle of African solutions to African problems.
