The UN Envoy to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, on Tuesday, briefed members of the Presidential Council (PC), Musa Al-Koni and Abdullah Al-Lafi, on his summary before the Security Council and the outcomes of his recent meetings with key actors in the political process.

Bathily praised the PC's efforts to achieve stability, considering it a primary partner to the UN mission in the political process.

He affirmed the mission's continued support for national reconciliation and the preparation for the inclusive conference to be held in the months ahead.

On their part, the PC members stressed the need to ensure inclusiveness in resolving the Libyan crisis to pave the way for free and transparent elections, which results are acceptable to all.
