The UN envoy Abdoulaye Bathily has expressed his rejection of any obstruction to the HCS sessions, stressing that these steps contribute to deepening the political crisis.

This came during his meeting with the head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, according to a statement by the HCS media office.

According to the statement, the meeting dealt with ways to advance the political process in order to reach the elections as soon as possible.
