The National Oil Corporation's (NOC) Chairman Farhat Bengdara discussed with Acting UN Envoy to Libya Stephanie Koury the resumption of oil production and issues related to its sustainability.
During a meeting held at the NOC's headquarters in Tripoli, the two sides also discussed preserving the independence of the NOC and supporting it locally and internationally to address difficulties related to operations and financing.
Bengdara stressed the NOC's continuous cooperation with regulatory authorities in order to establish the principle of transparency and ensure the fair distribution of oil revenues.
