Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Farhat Bengdara, on Tuesday, presided over the general assembly meeting of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) in Benghazi.

Bengdara reiterated the Corporation's continued work to perform its role impartially despite challenges, confirming ongoing collaboration with the government to change its funding method and direct deduction from revenues.

The NOC head emphasized the importance of increasing production in budget planning, indicating that the government approved a "significant project," which involves connecting pipelines from the Sirte area fields to the Ras Lanuf and Sidra ports, spanning a distance of 700 km.
