Emaar Libya Holding Company has announced the start of initial operations of the Benghazi Iron and Steel Assembly and Smelting Plant.
It pointed out that the plant will provide local products of international quality, and standards, according to a statement on its Facebook page.
The company published photos of the start of work at the plant on Thursday, and the release of its initial iron and steel products.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, Abdul Hamid Awad, followed up the start of operation of the plant in the presence of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emaar Libya Mining Company, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Shumoukh National Company.
