The Head of the High Council of State (HCS) Abdelrahman Al-Sweihli received a call from the Foreign Minister of the UK, Boris Johnson and discussed the latest about the UN-led action plan to end the Libyan crisis and the development of the efforts to amend the Libyan Political Agreement (LPA), according to the media office of Al-Sweihli.

The UK Foreign Minister stressed the need for pursuing efforts to amend the LPA to form new presidential council and a unity government inclusive off all Libyan parties, while Al-Sweihli confirmed willingness to help make the amendments' efforts succeed, reiterating commitment to the partnership with the House of Representatives as per the LPA.
