The British ambassador to Libya Nicholas Hopton, briefed the Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, on the United Kingdom’s efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis, according to the HCS’s media office.
It went on to say that the two parties discussed, during the meeting held on Tuesday, developments in the political and military situation in Libya and further developments in political dialogue, along with Britain’s efforts to assist in solving the present Libyan crisis and ways to push the political process forward.
A number of matters of common concern between both countries were also covered.
