The British Ambassador, Martin Longden, has confirmed that his country's trade with Libya has increased by 58% and totaling 2.2 billion euros.
Longden said in a tweet via his account on X: "I am delighted that the latest trade figures between Britain and Libya show a 58% increase - now valued at £2.2 billion, with both imports and exports up."
He added, "More exciting projects in the pipeline. All the more reason to find a consensus to the current political challenges and release Libya's full economic potential.”
