The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity announced on Sunday evening that the British Under-Secretary of State for the Middle East and North Africa, Hamish Falconer, will visit Libya next April.
The Acting Foreign Minister Al-Taher Al-Baour, received a phone call from the Falconer and the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations, and exchanged views on ways to support stability and develop cooperation in the political, economic and security fields, in addition to consulting on regional and international developments.
It added that the call addressed preparations for an upcoming visit by Falconer accompanied by an official delegation to Libya next April, in order to strengthen the strategic partnership and coordinate positions on common issues. The two sides stressed during the phone call the importance of continuing consultations to serve the interests of the two countries.
