The former US special envoy to Libya, Jonathan Winer has confirmed the appointment of Wafa Bugaighis as Libya’s Ambassador to the USA.

"Charge Wafa Bugaighis finally became Ambassador to the United States after presenting her credentials to President Trump”. Winer tweeted on Friday.

Bugaighis was among the delegation accompanying Chairman of Presidential Council Fayaz Sarraj in his visit to the USA on Friday.
