A source in the 301 Infantry Battalion in Tripoli said that explosives experts succeeded in defusing a car bomb in Al-Sawani district, southwest of Tripoli, in cooperation with the Central Security Force of Abu Salim.
The source revealed that the explosives experts were quickly sent to the scene after receiving a tip-off about a vehicle-borne in front of a crowded market in Al-Sawani road.
He added that the experts managed to dismantle the bomb before it went off, pointing out that all legal procedures have been taken without giving any other details.
