The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Naji Issa, has approved decisions granting licenses for 64 exchange companies and offices.

In a statement posted on its Facebook page, the CBL also announced an extension of the deadline for accepting documents from companies that had received preliminary approval but faced difficulties in completing their procedures, until the end of February 2025.

Additionally, the bank announced the acceptance of new requests to obtain preliminary approval for establishing exchange companies and offices, starting from March 1, until June 30, 2025.
