The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Sadiq Al-Kabir, held a meeting on Tuesday with the Attorney General, Seddik Al-Sour, to discuss a number of issues related to the supervision of the work of commercial banks operating in the country.

During the meeting, which was held at the Attorney General’s office, the two sides also reviewed the procedures that had been taken aimed at transferring bank balances to ensure the speedy completion of banking operations and the settlement of instruments between commercial banks.

The meeting also dealt with a number of files of common interest, especially combating money laundering and terrorism financing.
