The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, discussed on Monday, the partnership with the United States Agency for Development (USAID), during a meeting at the USAID HQ in Washington.

The meeting touched on following up the implementation of the technical support programs package that was launched in 2022 with the support of the USAID, and the cooperation and support plan for the year 2024, according to the CBL Facebook page.

The meeting also discussed the CBL's initiatives regarding transparency, disclosure, liquidity and the development of electronic payment services.

The CBL delegation, headed by Al-Kabir, visited the US capital, Washington, where it held discussions with the International Monetary Fund, and also attended meetings with international financial institutions, to discuss the challenges facing the financial sector in the world.
