The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Naji Issa, has agreed with the Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Hawaij, to form a joint working group of economic researchers for the purpose of studying the market needs for goods and services, encouraging local industries, and submitting applicable proposals.
This came during their meeting to discuss monetary and trade policies, unifying efforts to confront economic fluctuations, and achieving price stability in line with the objectives of the CBL plan to control exchange rate variables, according to the CBL.
