The Municipality of central Tripoli has called on citizens to share their proposals and opinions on development projects within the scope of the municipality, with the aim of managing local revenues and community budget.
"This participation achieves the ambitious vision of the municipality of central Tripoli, which is consistent with the implementation of the provisions of the local revenue system regulations”, in a post on its Facebook page on Sunday, the municipality said.
In its latest report on the performance of the local government sector, the Audit Bureau highlighted irregularities within the sector and the spending of huge amounts of money in municipalities on unnecessary and useless projects.
