Head of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj held a meeting Monday with the Chairman of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), Abdul-Majid Hamza to follow up on the plans of action adopted by the company to repair the damage that resulted from the clashes taking place in the outskirts of Tripoli.

Al-Sarraj reviewed the security measures that have been adopted to protect power stations and control rooms, as well as the previous programs to overcome the deficit in electricity supply, according to the Information Office of the PC.

Earlier, the GECOL warned of the possibility of total darkness if clashes continue and maintenance work was not conducted in conflict areas.
