Chairman of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj met Wednesday with the Head of the High Council of State Khalid Al-Mishri, and Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Saddek Elkaber.

The meeting comes in the context of the economic reforms follow-up and to ensure a rapid start to the implementation of the program, according to the Information Office of the PC.

The office added that the meeting stressed that the economic reforms are to serve the interests of people and will restrain the parallel market, underlining that food security is a top priority for the government at this stage.

They also ensured that these reforms will contribute to the provision of basic commodities at accessible prices, insisting that work will continue until the full recovery of the Libyan economy.
