The Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC) Fayez Al-Sarraj held a meeting with the Chief of General Staff, Major General Abdulrahman Al-Taweel, on Sunday to follow up the military and security situation in the conflict areas of Tripoli.
Al-Sarraj was briefed on the arrangements made to provide the needs of "military units" to ensure the safety and protection of citizens, in addition to the coordination mechanisms between "the military and security units" from different regions.
Al-Sarraj also met with the Minister of Defence Uhida Najm, where the meeting dealt with the Ministry's plan for protecting citizens and securing the vital institutions in the country.
