The Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Muhammad Al-Haddad, held a consultative meeting Tuesday, with the 5 + 5 Military Committee of the Government of National Accord, the field subcommittee, and field engineering officers at the Abu Sitta Naval Base.

A statement by the Department of Morale Affairs of the Libyan Armed Forces said that the meeting dealt with means of providing capabilities and financial rewards for the supporting force in the Sirte Al-Jufra Liberation Operations Room, as well as financial dues for the war-wounded committees overseas.

The Chief of General Staff also discussed the general plan for the demining process and providing the means to work on this plan, including coordinating with the field subcommittee to set the appropriate conditions before starting operations.

The meeting took up a plan to equip and provide special headquarters for the supporting forces after pulling back from the junction points in Sirte.
