The Chief of the General Staff, Lt. General, Mohamed Al-Haddad, thanked the United Kingdom for its “consistent supportive stance on Libya.”

This came during his meeting in Tripoli on Sunday with the British ambassador to Libya, Nicholas Hopton and the British military attaché, Colonel Mark Baffin.

The Media Office of the Chief of Staff said that the meeting dealt with prospects for joint cooperation and the means of strengthening support in the areas of the military, security training and consultations.
