The head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Nasruddin Shaib al-Ain revealed that a specialized committee is currently studying with the Ministry of Finance, the demands of the striking employees of the Authority.
In a press statement Monday, Shaib al-Ain clarified that they had approached the workers on strike and reassured them that their demands were being reviewed by the competent authorities.
Earlier, Mitiga International Airport management warned through its Facebook page that flights at the airport might be suspended, if officials of the Civil Aviation Authority continue to escalate their protest, stressing that many of the services had come to a standstill as a result of the strike.
