The General Administration of Coastal Security announced on Wednesday the rescue of 220 illegal migrants in territorial waters, near Bouri offshore field.
The Administration’s Personnel found the migrants, including women and children, on board a dilapidated boat, according to the administration’s statement on its Facebook page.
The statement explained that the migrants of different nationalities were transferred to Al-Shaab Port of the Coastal Security, Tripoli Branch, and then handed over to the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency to take the necessary legal measures.
