The heads of states and governments of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) have condemned the destruction of facilities at the Libyan oil crescent, stressing their full support and recognition of the Tripoli-based National Oil Corporation (NOC).

At the end of their 20th summit in Zambia on Friday, they stressed their support for the government of the Presidential Council in its efforts and war on terrorism and recognized it as the sole legitimate government of the country.

The Libyan delegation was headed by Foreign Minister Mohamed Siyala.
